Martin Eaglestone, is 47 years of age, and Labour candidate in the new constituency of Arfon. Martin is an experienced candidate and is campaigning on a theme that Arfon is “Open for Business”, as he believes regeneration and good quality jobs are central to Arfon’s future success.
Martin is married to Sue and they have five children. He lives with his family in Arfon in the village of Y Felinheli between Bangor and Caernarfon. His children attend local schools.
Martin has experience as a Community Councillor, school governor and foster carer. He has been an active member of UNISON for many years and has a keen interest in public services.
Outside of politics he follows the fortunes of West Bromwich Albion and has an interest in current affairs and environmental issues. He has a BSc in Town Planning and an MA in Management.
